Background

Glenn’s practice includes the management of complex insurance coverage, errors and omissions and bad faith litigation, and the defense of medical malpractice litigation. As a part of this work, he maintains an active presence in state trial courts and state appellate courts and all three federal district courts in North Carolina. He has handled a number of insurance coverage cases of first impression in state and federal court. Glenn also represents the North Carolina Rate Bureau in ratemaking litigation before the North Carolina Commissioner of Insurance and in litigation involving the Rate Bureau in state trial and appellate courts.

Glenn joined Young Moore and Henderson in 1991 as trial attorney and became a partner in 1998. He tried his first solo jury trial six months after joining the firm and has successfully tried numerous cases throughout North Carolina. Glenn began his practice trying bodily injury cases for automobile and homeowners insurers and assisting other attorneys in the defense of medical malpractice actions.

Glenn is actively involved in the firm’s recruitment program and management of the summer clerkship program. Outside of the office he is also involved in providing relief to impoverished communities in southern Honduras. He has been on numerous charitable mission trips to that country. Most recently, Glenn began service in 2009 as a founding board member and treasurer of Sharefish, a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing Honduran children the opportunity to attend school when their families cannot afford to send them.
