J. Clark Brewer
Clark Brewer joined Young Moore and Henderson in 1972 after serving four years as a officer in the U.S. Air Force, the last two years being in JAG. Since joining the firm, he has focused his practice in the real estate and business areas.
Mr. Brewer is a North Carolina State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law: Residential, Business, Commercial and Industrial Transactions. He has had extensive experience in commercial as well as residential transactions. He has represented developers, owners, sellers and buyers in planning, closing and implementing transactions that involve buying, selling, developing, leasing, and structuring all types of real estate projects. Through years of experience, he has become proficient in handling real estate matters including dispute resolution. Mr. Brewer has represented both tenants and landlords in numerous leasing arrangements involving the negotiation, preparation and review of leases for shopping centers, office buildings and office space, and other real estate projects. Also, Mr. Brewer is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Superior Court mediator and has successfully mediated settlements in numerous law suits.
Mr. Brewer has also represented the business community in a variety of transactions including the creation of and on-going counseling for corporations, limited liability companies and limited and general partnerships, and the governance of and purchase and sale of interest and assets in such entities.
