Christopher A. Page

Chris Page received his undergraduate degree from Duke in 1989, summa cum laude, and his juris doctorate from Yale Law School in 1992, where he served as Senior Editor on the Yale Law Journal. He also attended the London School of Economics on a semester program in 1988. Chris has been with the firm since 1995, after clerking for one year in the federal district court for Judge Thomas Wiseman in the Middle District of Tennessee, and after working for two years for a large Washington, D.C. law firm, focusing in civil litigation and environmental insurance matters.

Chris practices in the field of general civil litigation, with special emphasis on the defense and representation of clients in the fields of product liability, trucking and transportation liability, retail and premises liability, construction liability, commercial litigation, insurance coverage and litigation, environmental litigation, and general appellate. He represents numerous national clients on a state-wide basis, and has successfully litigated cases throughout the North Carolina State and Federal Courts. Chris has enjoyed success also at the appellate level, including the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Chris was elected a shareholder in the firm in 2000.

Chris is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Wake County Bar Association. He also holds memberships in the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, the North Carolina Bar Association (Litigation Section), the Defense Research Institute, and the American Bar Association (Litigation Section). Chris is also active in the Retail and Product Liability Sections of ALFA International.

Chris is married and has three children. Since 1996, he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Millbrook Baptist Kindergarten, a 40-year-old preschool with over 160 students. Chris's other volunteer activities include assisting with the Food Bank, the Special Olympics, and Meals on Wheels, for which has been a regular driver since 1996. His hobbies include being a Dad to three active kids and volunteering at swim meets. He also is a film and pop culture aficionado, and when he can find time, he enjoys billiards, Texas Hold-em', writing, reading, golf, and running.
