Hiring Practices
Our Recruiting Committee meets on a regular basis to review law student resumes and applications. We conduct on-campus interviews in the fall and spring of each year at area law schools and we encourage and accept resumes from students at other universities throughout the country. Students who do not attend one of the law schools at which we interview on campus should send their resumes to Young Moore and Henderson to the attention of Robert C. Paschal, our Recruiting Chairman. We seek to hire candidates with strong academic records and communication skills who are committed to practicing in Raleigh, North Carolina. We also take into consideration a law student's past work experience, accomplishments and community service involvement. We utilize our summer associate program as our main recruiting source for new associates. On occasion we recruit attorneys laterally for specific practice areas.
